What is included
Every feature is open from day one: tournament management, paid registration, federation rating reports, Grand Prix series, public scoreboards, certificates, AI social posts. No feature gating between tiers.
Tournament-fee processing
Paid registrations go through your club's own Stripe account. ChessMarshal takes a small platform fee of 2.9% plus $0.30 per registration, capped at $3, to cover Stripe and infrastructure costs. There is no fee on free tournaments.
Other payment options
Stripe Connect is the only payment provider supported today. We plan to add others (likely PayPal Multiparty, possibly Square) once the core feature set is complete, so clubs that prefer a different provider or have had Stripe issues with chess have a real alternative. No date yet; we will announce when work starts.
Trial details
Sign up, pick annual or monthly, enter a card. We do not charge until your 3-month trial ends. Cancel anytime from your billing portal. After the trial, the card you entered is charged on schedule. Switch between annual and monthly anytime.
